BRACHIORADIAL PRURITUS EXACERBATED BY SUN EXPOSURE

Brachioradial pruritus is an enigmatic entity, characterized by chronic itch overlying the dorsolateral aspects of the upper extremities. The pathophysiology of this disorder is controversial, with sun exposure and cervical spine damage being involved.
We report the case of a 53-year old female patient who presented with intense bilateral pruritus over the forearms with a seasonal variation, initially diagnosed as contact dermatitis.
