Clinical cases
Basal cell carcinoma developed on a plaque of vitiligo
Vitiligo is a chronic condition characterized by the appearance on different parts of the body of well-defined depigmented patches, plaques or placards. Basal cell carcinoma is the most common malignant tumor of the
skin.

The occurrence of non-melanoma cancer on lesions of vitiligo is quite exceptional. We present a patient with basal cell carcinoma, developed on a plaque of vitiligo.
