Basal cell carcinoma is a malignant tumor formation, keratinocyte, being the most common cutaneous malignancy. Its incidence has increased over the last 20 years, representing 30% of total current cutaneous malignant tumors and 60-80% of cutaneous epithelioma.
We present the clinical case of a man of 65, with a history of testicular seminoma surgery and radiation that reaches the lumbar area where multiple skin lesions appear.
Current illness began about 10 years ago by the appearance of patches, some pigmented some not, which grew slowly in size, with no improvement in any topical treatment. It raises the suspicion of malignant melanoma or basal cell carcinoma superficial pigmented and three skin biopsy are performed of which histopathology results reveal pagetoid basal cell carcinoma. Follow surgical therapy and starting the photodynamic therapy.
The particularity of the case lies in the morphological character and the onset of cutaneous lesions after radiation therapy.
